A track mounted mud treatment system is a mobile, self-contained system commonly used in geothermal wells and water well drilling. This system is designed for easy mobility, making them suitable for operations in remote or hard to reach locations. GN produced track mounted mud treatment system – composed of modules such as track platform, mud treatment system, and generator.


The mud treatment system is fixed with the track platform, the mud cleaner GNZY754K-Y6N is combination of 6ea 4 inch hydrocyclones installed on top of double deck shale shaker, the top screen area is 1.35m2, the bottom screen area is 1.35m2, the separation cut point is 15 ~ 20 microns. The treating capacity is up to 500gpm. The century mixing hopper and mixing pump are installed on the mud tank for the mud mixing if need. The whole system is within the track platform, which can be loaded into the 40ft container. The total power of the mud system is 11KW, the generator installed on the track system can support both of the mud treatment system and track drive. It can be remotely controlled to walk, move forward and backward, turn, and climb slopes, meeting different road conditions.

1000HP Drilling Rig Mud Tank System for China Drilling Company

Recently one set of 1000HP rig mud tank system are ready for delivery for China drilling company. This is a customized mud tank system according to client’s requirement, the technical configuration is as below:


4 sets of mud tanks with tank accessories, electric control system
Drilling fluids shale shaker: GNZS594K, 2 units , this is the updated model of GNZS594J shale shaker, equipped with 4 panel shaker screens, total screen area is up to 2.73m2, it is drived by 2ea of Italy Oil brand vibration motor, the vibration strength is up to 7.6G and it is adjustable, the deck angle is adjustable mechanically while operation. The shaker screen is also produced by GN solids control which is produced compliant with API RP13C standard.


Mud cleaner: 1 unit of GNZJ594K-2S12N, it is a combination of 2 ea desander cone, 12 ea desilter cone and GNZS594K bottom shale shaker, the treating capacity is 1000gpm.
Vacuum degasser: GNZCQ270, 1 unit
Middle speed decanter centrifuge for barite recovery: GNLW452DS, as one of the professional decanter centrifuge manufacturer in China, GN solids control can produce different size different volume decanter centrifuge, including 9 inch mini decanter centrifuge for solids removal unit waste water treatment; 14 inch bowl decanter centrifuge which can be used for drilling mud treatment, drilling waste treatment, dewatering system, oil sludge treatment system, waste water treatment; 18 inch bowl decanter centrifuge can be used as barite recovery decanter centrifuge, solids control centrifuge, drilling waste treatment system, etc; Also we have big bowl big volume centrifuge such as 22 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, 30 inch bowl decanter centrifuge, three phase decanter centrifuge, etc.


Centrifugal pump: 4 units and Mud agitator, mud gun, mixing hopper, mixing pump, etc.

The U-type screw conveyor produced by GN solids control is with standard each section 12 feet, we can produce 10 inch ,12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch and 18 inch screw diameter, the top cover is optional with steel gratings and closed plate according to client’s requirement, with reinforcing beam for gearmotor and auger body, for long lifetime. With additional safety features: Full Length Safety Grab Wires along the auger; The local control panel including the control for Grap wire switch; Audio / visual alarm system on auger control panel.
