What equipments/ technology will be showed at ADIPEC 2024?
GN Fully Hydraulic Drive decanter centrifuge: In the past years, GN already provided a large quantity of FHD decanter centrifuge in Middle East area for different projects, like drilling fluids treatment, drilling cuttings treatment, dewatering unit and other solids liquid separation system.
The hydraulic bowl and scroll drive system drives both of the hydraulic motor ROTODIFF and the bowl from hydraulic pump by two hydraulic oil circuits. The heavy duty FHD decanter centrifuge can be used in high ambient temperature area such as Middle East area and Africa with higher performance, the compact design with proper lifting frame can meet user’s lifting requirement with lifting certificate for offshore projects. GNLW363D-FHD is the most popular model fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge, with bowl size 14 inch, bowl length 50 inch, the bowl speed is up to 3600rpm, and the differential speed is 10~60 rpm.


GN solids vacuum pump: it is an ideal pump to transfer different materials, such as drilling waste, drilling cuttings, drilling fluids, waste, solids, various sludge, oil sludge, etc. It can be used freely for hazardous area application since it is 100% air operated pump, no need electricity. The horizontal discharge distance is up to 1000m, the suction distance is up to 50m, the transferred solids size is maximum 50mm or 75mm, the sludge solids content is up to 80%. It required an air compressor to supply air for operation.

Mini Shale Shaker and Decanter Centrifuge for International Diamond Core Drilling

One batch of mini shale shaker and mini decanter centrifuge are ready for delivery for diamond core drilling project. It is the core equipments for the diamond core drilling solids removal unit.


A complete solids removal unit consists of shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, centrifuge feeding pump, mixing hopper, mixing pump, mud gun( agitator), compact design mud tank and accessories. The function of the solids removal unit (SRU) is a closed loop fluids treatment system to recycle the water for mineral and diamond core drilling, the purpose is to reduce the water consumption, reduce the environmental impact, improve the drilling efficiency.
According to different drilling conditions, we have 2 models of mini centrifuge for option, GNLW223 is a standard mini decanter centrifuge with max bowl speed 4500rpm and max G force up to 2492G. We can also provide variable frequency drive for this centrifuge for smaller current in start if need. GNLW224-VFD is a high configuration variable speed mini decanter centrifuge with max bowl speed 5000rpm. Both of GNLW223 and GNLW224-VFD centrifuge with bowl diameter 9 inch, the bowl length is different, the client can select it according to their actual requirement.


GNZS752 is a 2 panel mini shale shaker, to separate the coarse solids from the diamond core drilling waste water, it can greatly improve the separation efficiency of mini decanter centrifuge, and protect the centrifuge screw. Without the mini shaker, the centrifuge bowl will be blocked frequently and damage very fast. GN mini centrifuge bowl screw propeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles for longer working life, especially when the solids content is high in the waste water, it will improve the centrifuge working life greatly.

Drilling Mud dewatering centrifuge Unit for Europe Client

Recently 2 sets of drilling mud dewatering centrifuge units are ready for shipment for Europe client. Each set of dewatering centrifuge unit including 1 set of GNLW364FT dewatering centrifuge, 1 set of chemical dosing system, 1 set of feeding screw pump and 2 sets of containers.


The GNLW363FT dewatering centrifuge is a 2 phase separation decanter centrifuge, the bowl diameter is 14 inch, the bow length is 59.5 inch, the bowl L/R ratio is up to 4.2, the max speed is 3900rpm, the max G force is up to 3063G, the beach angle will be designed as per the application.
The bowl main parts are made of duplex stainless steel SS2205 or SS2304 by centrifugal casting, which is superior to the performance of SS304 or SS316L. The slag outlet and mud distribution port is protected by the replaceable hard alloy sleeve, the carbide scraper are installed on the top and side of the slag discharge port of the bowl. The main material of the screw is duplex stainless steel SS2205 or SS2304. The centrifuge main motor, back motor and pump motor is controlled by the positive pressurized VFD control panel. The centrifuge feeding pump is made of Netzsch brand screw pump to adjust the feeding rate by adjust the motor frequency.


The chemical dosing system is customized design as per client’s requirement, including automatic powder chemical dosing system and manual liquid chemical dosing system, it can be used for both powder chemical and liquid chemical preparation, storage and dosing.
All the equipments are installed in the container for convenient transportation and operation.


Except for GNLW363FT dewatering centrifuge, GN solids control also produce other size decanter centrifuge, including 9 inch bowl, 14 inch bowl, 18 inch bowl, 22 inch bowl, 30 inch bowl, with L/R ratio 3 or 4 for different requirement.

Double Deck shale shaker and cuttings dryer for Africa drilling company

One set of double deck shale shaker and one set of vertical cuttings dryer are ready for shipment to Africa for drilling cuttings treatment system.
The double deck shale shaker will be applied as high G force drying shaker to separate the coarse solids, it can be used for both water based drilling cuttings and oil based drilling cuttings. The anti splash cover on the top to prevent the drilling mud from splashing. The top layer and bottom layer total 6pcs shaker screens are composite material frame for longer working life and better separation performance.


The vertical cuttings dryer is ideal equipment to be used for oil based drilling cuttings treatment, after treatment, the oil content on the cuttings is below 5%, the fluids will flow to an intermediate tank, then feed the fluids to decanter centrifuge for further treatment, the fine solids will be separated out by decanter centrifuge, the fluids can be reused for drilling. Before treated by decanter centrifuge, the fluids can be treated by drying shaker to reduce solids content, it will increase the decanter centrifuge treating capacity and performance, also it can prevent the centrifuge bowl from damaged by the high solids content.


GN standard drilling waste management system GNCM-40A is consist of VFD decanter centrifuge, vertical cuttings dryer, flushing pump, centrifuge feeding screw pump, fluids collection tank, skid, electric control system, accessories. The compact design with small footprint is loaded into standard container.

3 Phase Decanter Centrifuge for oil water separation to China ES Company

One unit of three phase decanter centrifuge is ready for delivery to China Environmental Science company for oil water separation.
The three phase decanter centrifuge working principal is as below:


The solids, oil and water with different gravity, so the generated centrifugal force is different. The solids with largest specific gravity will generate highest centrifugal force, the next is the heavy phase liquid ( water) and the light phase liquid (oil). Due to different centrifugal force, one solid layer and two liquid layer are formed. The solids to be pushed out by the screw, the liquids are separated out from their respective nozzles, the solids oil water separation can be achieved.


GN three phase decanter centrifuge is designed for oil water solids separation under 24 hours continuous working and easy operation & maintenance. The main components including centrifuge driving system, decanter bowl, screw inside the bow, centrifuge skid and VFD control panel.
The 3 phase decanter centrifuge is installed on the mud tank or on the telescopic skid with feeding pump, it has been widely used for oil sludge treatment system. The oil sludge can not be feed into the three phase decanter centrifuge directly, the sludge vacuum pump will pick up the oil sludge from waste pit to the pre-mixing tank, with chemical jetting, heating and agitating, the submersible slurry pump will suck from the pre-mixing tank to shale shaker module to separate the coarse solids and reduce solids content, the fluids discharged from shale shaker will be feed to two phase decanter centrifuge with proper chemicals for fine solids separation. The liquid treated by the 2 phase decanter centrifuge can be feed to three phase decanter centrifuge for oil water separation by adding proper chemicals.
