22inch big bowl decanter centrifuges unit for Kuwait Oil Sludge Treatment Company

We have 2 models of 22 inch big bowl decanter centrifuge, GNLW553-VFD and GNLW554-VFD. The bowl diameter is 22 inch (550mm), The bowl length is 71 inch (1800mm) or 91 inch (2310mm). The designed capacity is 500gpm, the typical capacity is 400gpm. The max bowl speed is 3000rpm, the typical bowl speed is 2500rpm, the max G force is 2719G, the typical G force is 1888G. The bowl speed and differential speed can be adjustable by VFD control panel operation.
The oil sludge is a mixture of oil, water, and solid contaminants that can result from oil spills, tank cleaning, or oil production processes. Proper treatment and disposal of oil sludge are critical to mitigate environmental damage and recover valuable resources.


GN oil sludge treatment system working process is as below:
The vacuum pump pick up the oil sludge or contaminated soil from waste pit and discharge to pre-mixing tank, by adding chemicals, heating and agitating in the pre-mixing tank to improve the separation efficiency of the further separation equipments. After screening module, the treated fluids will be feed to big bowl decanter centrifuge to separate to solids and liquids ( oil water mixture), working with chemical dosing unit and heating if need.

Recently 3 sets of 1500HP drilling rig mud tank system are ready for shipment to drilling company. Each set of 1500HP drilling rig mud tank system consists of the equipments list as below:


1. Trailer mounted Mud tank 7 sets in customized dimension, with mud tank accessories
2. 3 sets of GNZS594K 4 panel linear motion shale shaker, each shale shaker installed with 4pcs of 585x1165mm composite material frame shaker screens. The 3 sets shale shaker are installed on a triple shaker skid with box type possum belly for convenient transportation and lifting.
3. 1 set of GNZCQ270B vacuum degasser
4. 1 set of GNZJ752K-M2SK desander mud cleaner, installed with bottom shaker composite material shaker screens, which is same with desilter mud cleaner shaker screen for inventory.
5. 1 set of GNZJ752K-M12NK desilter mud cleaner, the treating capacity is 1000gpm.
6. 1 set of VFD decanter centrifuge GNLW452DS-VFD with feeding pump, the main motor is 60HP and the back drive motor is 15HP, the variable speed can be adjusted for different G force requirement during drilling. It is a 18” inch bowl decanter centrifuge, GN also produce
9 inch bowl centrifuge, 14 inch bowl centrifuge, 22 inch big bowl decanter centrifuge, 25 inch bowl decanter centrifuge and 30 inch bowl decanter centrifuge.


7. Centrifugal pump and mud agitator, mud gun , mixing hopper, including desander desilter feeding pump, trip pump, mixing pump, super charging pump, etc.

1000HP Drilling Rig Mud Tank System for China Drilling Company

Recently one set of 1000HP rig mud tank system are ready for delivery for China drilling company. This is a customized mud tank system according to client’s requirement, the technical configuration is as below:


4 sets of mud tanks with tank accessories, electric control system
Drilling fluids shale shaker: GNZS594K, 2 units , this is the updated model of GNZS594J shale shaker, equipped with 4 panel shaker screens, total screen area is up to 2.73m2, it is drived by 2ea of Italy Oil brand vibration motor, the vibration strength is up to 7.6G and it is adjustable, the deck angle is adjustable mechanically while operation. The shaker screen is also produced by GN solids control which is produced compliant with API RP13C standard.


Mud cleaner: 1 unit of GNZJ594K-2S12N, it is a combination of 2 ea desander cone, 12 ea desilter cone and GNZS594K bottom shale shaker, the treating capacity is 1000gpm.
Vacuum degasser: GNZCQ270, 1 unit

Solids Control Decanter Centrifuge unit for Europe Drilling Company

Recently one package of solids control decanter centrifuge unit are ready for delivery to Europe Drilling company. The decanter centrifuge unit consists of VFD decanter centrifuge, telescopic skid, feeding pump and other accessories, like hoses, valves, pipes, control panel, etc.


The decanter centrifuge is a 14 inch bowl variable frequency drive decanter centrifuge, with bowl length 50 inch, the max speed is up to 3900rpm with max G force 3063G. The bowl main material is duplex stainless steel 2304, the other components are made of stainless steel SS316L, the bearing is from SKF brand, the screw is made of stainless steel with tungsten carbide tiles for longer working life. The solids discharge port and fluids outlet are all protected by tungsten alloy which is interchangeable. The positive pressurized VFD control panel can be widely used for different drilling conditions, including high temperature area, cold area, etc. The VFD drive is from ABB, YASKAWA, the main components are from Omron, Siemens, Schneider, etc. brand for easy source of replacement.


Additionally, we can make customized design for lifting frame of the decanter centrifuge, VFD control panel and telescopic skid to be utilized for offshore and onshore projects. The telescopic skid is also customized for onshore and offshore projects, it depends on the space at the rig site.

GN Fully Hydraulic Drive decanter centrifuge: In the past years, GN already provided a large quantity of FHD decanter centrifuge in Middle East area for different projects, like drilling fluids treatment, drilling cuttings treatment, dewatering unit and other solids liquid separation system.
The hydraulic bowl and scroll drive system drives both of the hydraulic motor ROTODIFF and the bowl from hydraulic pump by two hydraulic oil circuits. The heavy duty FHD decanter centrifuge can be used in high ambient temperature area such as Middle East area and Africa with higher performance, the compact design with proper lifting frame can meet user’s lifting requirement with lifting certificate for offshore projects. GNLW363D-FHD is the most popular model fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge, with bowl size 14 inch, bowl length 50 inch, the bowl speed is up to 3600rpm, and the differential speed is 10~60 rpm.


GN solids vacuum pump: it is an ideal pump to transfer different materials, such as drilling waste, drilling cuttings, drilling fluids, waste, solids, various sludge, oil sludge, etc. It can be used freely for hazardous area application since it is 100% air operated pump, no need electricity. The horizontal discharge distance is up to 1000m, the suction distance is up to 50m, the transferred solids size is maximum 50mm or 75mm, the sludge solids content is up to 80%. It required an air compressor to supply air for operation.
