Recently GN sold its new set of SRU (Solids Removal Unit) to an international customer which is a long time customer for GN and this is the 3rd order from the customer for this unit. The new SRU consists of 752 shale shaker, 223 mini decanter centrifuge and centrifugal pump and mixing hopper. When it’s working, the shale shaker will do the first coarse screening of the solids and the mud will be transferred to decanter centrifuge by centrifugal pump for finer screening. This unit is also equipped with a mixing hopper which makes it easy for add chemicals into the mud to meet the working requirement. And there are many advantages: the dimension of the unit is 4000*4000*2300mm which makes it easy for transportation and mobilized during operation. It’s also environmental friendly and sump free during operation. The unit is very high efficient which will save a lot of time and cost. And it’s easy to be assembled and disassembled. Due to its many edges, the unit is widely used in many mining and diamond core drilling industry which requires small volume of mud during operation.
