1500HP Drilling Rig Solids Control System for Africa Project

Recently one package of 1500HP drilling rig solids control system are ready for delivery to Africa project. The technical configuration is as below:


1. Solids control shale shaker GNZS594J-SHBJ, 3 units, each unit with 4 panel shaker screen which is with composite material frame and stainless steel wire mesh 2 or 3 layers by 4 sides pretension.
2. Centrifugal degasser GNZCQ-1200, 1 unit
3. Desander unit GNZJ591J-M2SF, 1 unit , with 2 ea of 10 inch desander cone, the general treating capacity is up to 1000gpm of drilling fluids.
4. Desilter unit GNZJ591J-M16NF, 1 unit, with 16 ea of 4 inch desilter cone, the total treating capacity is up to 1500gpm of drilling mud.


5. Centrifugal pump in different size for different applications, including 5 units of GNSB8x6-14J (75KW) centrifugal pump, 3 units of GNSB8x6-13J (55KW) centrifugal pump, 5 units of GNSB4x3-12J (15KW) centrifugal pump and shear pump GNJBQ6*5-750 (75KW), 3 units of mixing hopper (H)JM-200, these centrifugal pump can be used as transfer pump, trip pump, mixing pump, charging pump, feeding pump.


6. High speed decanter centrifuge GNLW363D-GP, 1 unit, to separate the fine solids from drilling fluids and keep it balancing. The centrifuge is 14 inch bowl diameter with 50 inch bowl length, the max speed is up to 3600rpm and the max G force is 3063G, the separation cut point is 2~ 5microns, if need to separate more fine solids, chemical dosing unit can be used together with the centrifuge by adding chemicals in the inlet tube.
7. Mud agitators installed on the mud tank for drilling mud agitating and mixing, including 7 units of 20HP mud agitator, 2 units of 15HP mud agitator, 1 unit of 7.5HP mud agitator.
8, Customized mud tank system, including active tank, intermediate tank, suction tank, mixing tank,, reserve tank, trip tank,etc.

Diamond Core Drilling Centrifuge Unit for Overseas Client

4 sets of diamond core drilling centrifuge unit are ready for delivery to overseas client, they will be used for water recovery of the diamond core drilling mud, the purpose to use the centrifuge is to reduce water consumption and reduce the influence on the environment during the core drilling process, this will save money for the client and save water volume which is limited in remote area.


Normally we will use 9 inch diameter mini decanter centrifuge as the diamond core drilling centrifuge, GNLW223D, GNLW223D-VFD, GNLW224-VFD is the most popular model for this application, the centrifuge bowl diameter is 9 inch, the centrifuge bowl length is 26.4 inch or 36.4 inch, the bowl length to diameter ratio is 3 or 4. The max speed is up to 5000rpm, the max G force is up to 3200G, the max capacity is maximum 130 L/min. The main motor is 15HP, the back drive motor is 7.5HP. The separation cut point is 2~5 microns, with flocculants, its dewatering capacity is 1~2 m3/h. High speed drive control panel and variable frequency drive control panel is available for option. So except for diamond core drilling mud cleaning, the 9 inch bowl decanter centrifuge can be also used for oil sludge treatment unit, as the primary treatment centrifuge for solids liquid separation.

High G Drying Shaker and Decanter Centrifuge for Oman Project

Recently one batch of high G drying shaker and decanter centrifuge are ready for shipment to Oman, including screw conveyor transfer hopper, high G drying shaker module, decanter centrifuge module. The technical configuration is as below:


1. High G drying shaker module, GNZS594J high G drying shaker installed on the mud tank, with screw conveyor transfer system to transfer the drilling cuttings automatically. Four panel composite material frame shaker screens with 2 or 3 layers of stainless steel wire mesh are installed on the shale shaker, the shaker screen is produced comply with API RP13C standard.


2. Decanter centrifuge module, GNLW363D decanter centrifuge installed on the mud tank, with screw conveyor transfer system to transfer the discharged solids to cuttings collection box automatically. Also we can provide variable frequency drive decanter centrifuge with better treatment performance.
Firstly the drilling cuttings are feeding to high G drying shaker to separate coarse solids and reduce the solids content, the fluids will drop into the mud tank under the high G drying shaker, the screw pump will feed the fluids to high speed decanter centrifuge to separate fine solids from the drilling fluids, the clean fluids will be recycled and back to solids control system to prepare for new drilling fluids, the drilling cuttings are transferred by the screw conveyor.
This system is customized designed for water based mud drilling cuttings treatment project in Oman, with electric control system and electric motor compliant with ATEX standard.
